| Abstract: | RESUMEN: Numerosos copépodos ectoparásitos fueron colectados sobre las branquias y ano del pez Luna Mola mola (Molidae), capturado en el Golfo de Cariaco. Estos fueron identificados como Cecrops latreillii (Cecropidae) y Lepeophtheirus nordmanni (Caligoidae) y constituyen primeros los registros de estas especies para Venezuela. ABSTRACT: Ectoparasitics copepods were collected on Mola mola (Molidae) gills and anus. The specimen was caught in Cariaco Trench. The copepods were identified as Cecrops latreillii (Cecropidae) and Lepeophtheirus nordmanni (Caligoidae).These are the first both species for Venezuela. |
