EXTENSIÓN DE UML PARA ESCENARIOS EN LA INGENIERÍA DE REQUISITOS

Abstract

RESUMEN: El lenguaje de modelado unificado (UML) es el estándar para especificar y documentar sistemas de software construidos utilizando objetos; sin embargo, en ocasiones se requiere representar conceptos de ciertos dominios particulares que no están definidos en el estándar. El objetivo de este trabajo es describir una extensión UML a través de un perfil para el modelado de escenarios en el contexto de la Ingeniería de Requisitos. Para llevar a cabo el objetivo planteado, se estudian los conceptos relacionados con el enfoque de escenarios para la captura y especificación de requisitos, se desarrolla un modelo conceptual, y se define el perfil UML. Como resultado final se obtienen un conjunto de elementos de modelación útiles para la representación y/o descripción de escenarios. Este perfil permite disponer de una abstracción para el desarrollo de futuras herramientas automatizadas, que permitan dar soporte a la modelación de Escenarios en la Ingeniería de Requisitos. ABSTRACT: The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is the standard used to specify and document software systems made by using objects. However, it is occasionally necessary to represent concepts of certain particular dominions that are not defined in the standard language, being necessary to make extensions to the language. The goal of this work is to describe an UML extension by means of a profile for the modeling of scenarios in the Requirements Engineering context. To reach this goal, the concepts studied are related to the elicitation for the gathering and specification of requirements using the scenarios approach. Furthermore, a conceptual model is developed and the UML profile is defined. As a final result, a set of modeling elements useful for the representation and/or description of scenarios is obtained. This profile provides an abstraction for the development of future automated tools supporting the modeling of Scenarios in the Requirements Engineering.
