| Résumé: | RESUMEN: Los organismos marinos representan una nueva fuente de compuestos biológicamente activos con interesantes propiedades tales como, antibacterianas, antimicoticas, citotóxicas, hemaglutinantes, hemolisantes, relajante musculares. Esta revisión bibliográfica describe los progresos en esta área del conocimiento en las últimas décadas en Venezuela, los cuales son hasta el momento escasos. ABSTRACT: Marine organisms represent a new source of biologically active compounds with a wide range of interesting properties such as: antibacterial, antifungal, cytotoxic, hemagglutinating, hemolytic, and muscle-relaxing. This bibliographic review describes the advances in this area in Venezuela, which up to now have been wanting. |
